"Ozone Blitz" is Happening Wednesday

We kick off the Rock Band Blitz launch with a day of new videos.

By: Owen Douglass | RBN | August 24, 2012

On Wednesday, August 29th, Harmonix releases their new downloadable arcade title Rock Band Blitz on Xbox Live (and on PSN the day before). To commemorate, Ozone Entertainment will be recording and posting videos of all of our Rock Band Network tracks running in the new game on launch day!

Throughout the day, we will be posting videos of each of our RBN tracks running in the game. These videos are purely to show off how they play, not how good we are at them. Note that we can't even hear the audio while playing, and we will not have any power-ups activated. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow us at... Read More

Zone-casts Return with the Debut of "The Echo Chamber"

We kick off the return of our podcasting service with a silly new show.

By: Owen Douglass | Zone-casts | July 9, 2012

A couple years ago Ozone Entertainment delved into the world of podcasting, launching a service called Zone-casts. Originally the service just included recordings of radio programs that aired live on Ozone Radio, with the music sections edited out. Unfortunately, it never really picked up steam or expanded and the service suspended operation.

Today, we are pleased to announce that we have revived the Zone-casts brand. For the first time, we are offering brand new original podcasts on a regular basis that will be both funny and informative. This was our original vision with Zone-casts, and it's great to finally see it come to fruition. Our inaugural podcast is called "The Echo... Read More

E3 2012: Ozone Entertainment RBN Announcement

We continue our annual tradition of dropping bombs on E3. Including some surprises.

By: Owen Douglass | RBN | June 6, 2012

Hello, everyone. Owen Douglass here, owner of Ozone Entertainment. Each year during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, I enjoy having Ozone Entertainment participate in all the excitement going on in the gaming world. Fortunately, I'm sitting comfortably in Philadelphia rather than franticly running around in LA. Maybe one year I will be invited over there, but for now this is just fine.

This is the third year that Ozone Entertainment has participated in E3. In 2010, just mere days after Rock Band 3 was announced with keyboard and harmony support we announced "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65 as the first Rock Band Network song to incorporate keyboard support. In 2011, we revealed... Read More

Prepare to feel the burn. Available in both standard and double bass flavors.

By: Owen Douglass | RBN | January 9, 2012

One of the complaints we have received was we did not have any songs for the "hardcore" players. You know, the people who study paths and like to show off their full combos and high scores on sites like ScoreHero. Well, we've heard the requests and now we have delivered. Introducing "Console War" by DRUOX.

Also known as DruoxTheShredder, DRUOX is an Internet voice-acting talent and comedic music artist. His page on NewGrounds features tons of songs ranging from original compositions to video game parodies. He is also a regular on the Machinima web series "Sanity Not Included", which pokes fun at the gaming culture.

"Console War" is from the soundtrack of that series,... Read More
